After the monumental, five-day, 100+ artist marathon that was ENTER THE VOID III which ushered in the new year with a cacophony of experimental electronics and the more intimate MOON 1, 2, and 3 sessions that followed, the collective behind Void TV has been quietly preparing their next move.
Introducing DREAM_01 : HYPNAGOGIA, the first installment of a brand new four-part audiovisual experience. Premiering this Friday, June 26 at 6 PM EST, this series shifts the focus from the broad spectrum of the underground to the specific, liminal space between wakefulness and sleep: the hypnagogic state. Each episode is conceptualized as a different “stage of the dream,” immersive music and visuals to “carry you beyond waking reality.” This is not a passive listening session, it is an invitation to drift. The new series will be a four-part audiovisual experience featuring artists from across the Dreampunk, Vaporwave, Ambient, and experimental underground. One episode will be premiered every Friday from now.
The inaugural episode, HYPNAGOGIA‘s lineup for this Friday is already available and it is difficult to ignore such a spectacle when the lineup includes sets from Sangam, Kagami Smile, Voyage Futur, and Tim Six names that carry significant weight across the ambient and dreampunk spheres. And let us not forget the visual artists who have become synonymous with the reputation of these events: DINKIEPIE, VAL1S, MECHAMEDIA, and ThaDabWizard, whose immersive visuals and manipulations have long been a cornerstone of these events, turning each broadcast into a fully realized sensory experience. Of course, the rest of the lineup is equally impressive, and I suspect you might even discover a fair share of hidden gems among the names you may not recognize yet.

I personally can’t wait to hear all of this on Friday and don’t forget, the event runs for four full weeks ! The Void TV team has already given us a glimpse of some of the artists lined up for the upcoming episodes, and it’s more than enough to whet the appetite.
