Signalwave is an incredibly flourishing community in the vaporwave scene, with a lot of new artists coming in and bringing their personal visions. Demonのけ者 just released their second album and it’s a perfect example of using signalwave to explore personal nostalgia and childhood memories. The folky tunes, the childhood sentiments, the analog buzz all transport you back to a time when things were simpler. One day we will grow up, but that doesn’t mean we have to leave the small things behind.

This was a very fascinating album! I may have been a little too old to be nostalgic for this specific programming, but man did this bring me back to my childhood. This album made me appreciate the artistic value of children’s music and damn if the final song didn’t hit me in the feels.
