Founded in 2015 by George Clanton and Lindsey French, 100% Electronica is one of the most influential independent labels in the modern vaporwave movement. Originally established in Brooklyn, New York, and now based in Los Angeles, the label has become synonymous with high-quality physical releases, innovative marketing, and a strong DIY philosophy. Rather than relying on traditional record label contracts, 100% Electronica built its reputation through direct engagement with its community, limited-edition vinyl, cassette releases, and the annual ElectroniCON festival.
Although rooted in vaporwave, the label’s catalog spans a wide range of genres including synth-pop, chillwave, dream pop, ambient, hypnagogic pop, experimental electronic, and progressive vaporwave. Its roster includes many of the scene’s defining artists, such as George Clanton, Windows 96, death’s dynamic shroud, Neggy Gemmy, FM Skyline, Equip, ESPRIT 空想, Satin Sheets, Small Black, PICTUREPLANE, and AURAGRAPH.
