MORE ADS ON VAPORLOOT 📢💿

In a world of hyper-consumption, websites are drowning in ads. Algorithms study your every move to sell you things you didn’t even know you needed. Every click, every scroll, every little digital footprint is another opportunity to shove a product in your face.

But wait… isn’t it strange that Vaporloot has absolutely NO ads?

Well, it’s time to fix that.

Introducing MORE ADS ON VAPORLOOT, a community-driven project dedicated to bringing more ads to Vaporloot. But not just any ads. YOUR ads. Want to promote an upcoming release, showcase your latest artistic project, or give your label some well-deserved exposure? Now’s your chance!

Fire up your favorite graphics software (obviously Microsoft Paint Windows XP), grab your mouse, and unleash your creativity. We’re looking for retro, vaporwave-inspired banners straight out of the golden age of 2000s blogs and personal websites. Think flashy graphics, nostalgic web aesthetics, questionable design choices, and all the chaotic charm of the old internet. Make it weird. Make it nostalgic.

If your ad gets selected, it’ll be randomly displayed on every page of Vaporloot, right below the Album of the Week section in the sidebar on the right. Selected ads will be featured throughout December and January. A winter or Christmas theme isn’t mandatory, but it’ll definitely earn you some extra festive points!

🖼️ REQUIREMENTS

• Submit before November 17th !
• Dimensions: 240 × 100 pixels
• Format: PNG or JPEG
• Style: Retro web, vaporwave, 2000s blog aesthetics. Let your imagination run wild ! Spicy content allowed if it’s pixelated enough 😉
• Content: Promote your release, artistic project, label, or anything else you’d like the Vaporloot community to discover.
• One submission per person or label. (If you’re an artist who also runs a label, you’re allowed to submit two ads: one promoting your artistic project and one for your label.)

Let’s bring back the golden age of internet self-promotion. The Vaporloot team will review and approve all submissions. As long as you’re not promoting anything problematic, you’ve got nothing to worry about ! We’re here to celebrate creativity, not judge your graphic design skills. 🙂
