This week AOTW : nuevo milenio mexicano
I hope everyone enjoyed Vaporloot III last weekend! What an amazing collection of music and visual artists, and it was so great to hang with everyone in the chats. If you missed it or want to see more, check out Day 1 and Day 2 on BORT Media’s channel!
Loops are probably the thing I like most about vaporwave. A properly constructed loop can be a gateway into another world. This album by Mexican signalwave artist Sticker Bun uses stacked loops to open up a world of Spanish language media. Commercials, TV clips, and other sounds from the online world phase in and out of sync with each other. Let these loops draw you into a state of meditation of digital reality, a vapor trance state for those who need it.
See you next week for another recommendation !
